You then travel up to the launching pad where you get an amazing view of the towering 1,149 foot tall stratosphere tower, the Paris Las Vegas, the Wynn Las Vegas, the Bellagio, and the New York – New York. But all of this is NOTHING compared to what comes next.
The helicopter ride doesn’t just show its guests the strip; it also tours you around the historic downtown Las Vegas and over Fremont Street. If you are worried about heights, don’t be. One pilot when interviewed stated that two of the pilots themselves are scared of heights, but when they are 1000 feet in the air, it’s not a problem at all. Passengers are usually so impressed with the sights of this amazing city that they completely forget about how high up they are. Unlike airplanes can sometimes be, guests are surprised on how UN-bumpy and UN-choppy this experience is. All of the pilots are well trained and professionals, making guests very comfortable.
As previously mentioned, there is no age limit to the ride, but pilots note that the older the child, the more they seem to appreciate the experience. A video in DVD format is available to purchase at the end of the ride to remember your experience. This is recorded by a professional video photographer and is the perfect way to show family and friends the adventure.
The company also allows couples to book the helicopter just for themselves of their friends. One pilot told interviewers of a time when a man booked the flight for himself, his fiancé and their friends. He remembers the man proposing to her, her crying, and the entire helicopter cheering for the newly engaged couple. This can truly be one of the most amazing experiences a person can take.
Another local resident of Las Vegas actually took his girlfriend and blindfolded her before boarding the helicopter. She loved the experience and encourages both tourists and locals to experience the ride.
